WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Bruce and his crew are meticulous to details and do a fantastic job. They re-landscaped our whole yard and I am very happy with the outcome. The grass is level, block walls are sturdy and straight, and the cement they poured looks great.

Larry Fairbank

Boss Landscape Development has done work for us for over 20 years. Everything from weekly lawn maintenance, to installing sprinkler systems, concrete sideways and patio, design and planting shrubs and trees throughout our yard. They have even cut down and removed overgrown trees for us. Bruce has a very professional and helpful crew and I would highly recommend them for any landscaping project!

After almost 30 years, we had this crew give my brick wall an overdue face list. They were very thorough, chipping out and replacing a lot of the grout, fixed up the bricks that needed repairs or replaced. And then topped it all off with 4 ft caps that really finish it up nicely. This wall is going to last another 50 years. Over the years they built my deck and helped with many landscaping issues and questions. They are knowledgeable and do very high quality work. Jordan is very particular. I highly recommend you contact them for your next project.

Issues

Here are a few issues you maight be faceing with utah county landscaping

Flooding and Drainage

Utah County Landscaping, flooding, or drainage is one of the most common issues that homeowners and businesses have. The main causes are improper sloping or inadequate drainage systems. The reason this is such a large issue in Utah County is because of the large amounts of clay in our soils. We have resolved this issue by fixing the slope to move water away from the buildings and into the gutters or a large catch drain where it can be absorbed into the soil over time. In some cases, we have had to put sump pumps in the catch drain and run piping to the gutters to better evacuate the water from the property.

Drought's

Although we get snow and rain throughout parts of the year, we also have had severe droughts in past years. Through the summers, when we are more likely to have droughts, we have more responsibility to make sure we are doing our part to save water. Some of the solutions we offer include planting drought-resistant plants, highly efficient watering systems, watering in the early morning or late evening or there are some extreme alternatives like re-landscaping our yards to xeriscapes.

Cutting Corners

It's sad to say, but there are many companies out there unlicensed, uninsured, and unqualified, or worse, a company that is licensed, insured, and "qualified" but ignores the proper procedures to correctly install the landscape. As a result, the Homeowner is left to resolve the problem or try and fight the company to come fix it. We have seen these issues and pride ourselves on the quality of our work because we put the work in to make beautiful and long-lasting landscapes by taking courses to better know how to avoid failure.
